Shipping / Duties / Care

Now we know just how excited you are to receive your VG gear, and we are just as excited to share it with you as well. Once orders are shipped out of our warehouse, and they are placed into the hands of the shipping carriers, we only have access to the same tracking information you see from the carrier.
We appreciate your patience in responding to your email while we address everyone's questions and concerns.

Shipping Costs:
We do our best to keep shipping prices low and use UPS, DHL and USPS for domestic shipping. Pricing is based on final destination and weight so we're doing our best to keep pricing as low as we can while getting your order to you quickly. 

Order Processing and Ship Times:
Orders are processed at our warehouse daily and picked up by UPS, DHL and USPS Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders are printed, picked and packed on Saturdays and Sundays and are sent out on Monday afternoon.  We try and ship orders out the same day whenever possible and work to ship the day after you order as a worst case. 
PREORDERS WILL SHIP ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE DATE LISTED. Another email is sent once your preorder ships. 
Orders within the United States take between 2-9 days to be delivered. International orders can take up to 4-6 weeks once they're shipped and pass through customs in the destination country. 
 
EXPEDITED SHIPPING:
When selecting EXPEDITED shipping options, orders that are placed before 2p will ship the same day.

Damaged Shipments:
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages. It is up to you to track your package and ensure you are there to receive it. UPS, DHL, USPS and other shipping carriers do their best to update orders once they arrive at their processing center from our warehouse so please check with them for updates once we've shipped it using the tracking number you receive via email.

Duties:
When ordering, you're responsible for ensuring the product can be imported to the destination country as the recipient. As the importer of record on your order, you must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. If you are outside of the USA, you may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country that you will have to pay for once the shipment reaches you. These additional charges for customs clearances must be paid by the recipient of the order.
**NEW FEATURE: PREPAY YOUR DUTIES AT CHECKOUT BY SELECTING THE DHL PREPAY OPTION (this is different than Violent Gentlemen Shipping Fees, Duties fees go straight to your country's customs organization. 
We at Violent Gentlemen have no control over these charges nor can we predict what they might be.  As policies range from country to country, you should contact your local customs office for more information. Many times the delays in international shipments are due to the customs clearance process.

Care & Quality:
We take pride in the quality of our product and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Sometimes our Quality Control process can miss defects so before you take the tags off take a quick look at your product for any possible damages/defects. If you find something we've missed, refer to our returns process. If your order is good, we recommend cutting the hang tags off and not ripping them as you may cause a hole in the product if you're not careful.
